FRESHJIVE / NO LOVE

Encontré está camiseta la semana pasada en el DF, fue la compra perfecta; primero porque me gustó mucho y segundo porque estaba en liquidación... :P

Investigué un poco de la marca y ya me hice fan, tienen prints muy "diferentes", patrones interesantes y texturas divertidas.

Todo bajo el lema: Made in los Ángeles.

I found this T-Shirt last week in México City, it was the perfect buy; first because i liked a lot, and second because it was on sale... :P

I did a little research of the brand (i've never heard of it before) and now i'm totally a fan, they have very "different" prints, interesting patterns and funny textures.

Everything under the motto: Made in los Ángeles.

Continuaré haciendo posts de algunas de mis camisetas favoritas, (se que no son lo mejor del mundo) pero me pareció divertido documentarlas antes que que estén demasiado gastadas, rotas o perdidas...

I will continue doing posts of some of my favorite T-Shirts, (i know they are not the best in the world) but it is interesting for me to document them before they become too old, broken or lost...

Prada Combo Shoes / SS 2011

Me encantó la idea de Miuccia para ésta colección, y como ya se vio en Milán hace unos días, para mujer hizo algo parecido.

Amo la idea de mezclar tres suelas distintas; (Vaqueta, Alpargata y Deportiva).

Se han convertido en un objeto de deseo para mí, de preferencia los Oxford negros.

I like Miuccia's idea for this collection, and just like the recently women's catwalk in Milano, she did something alike.

I love the idea of mixing three kinds of soles (wooden sole, Espadrilles and Sporty).

They became in a truly must have... in specific; the black Oxford's. :)

Monsieur Primitif / David Cabra

Esta colección masculina para Otoño/Invierno 2010-2011 fue la ganadora del #29 concurso de ModaFad (Un evento-fundación en Barcelona, que promueve nuevos Diseñadores.

David Cabra, diseñador proveniente de la escuela Felicidad Duce creó esta maravillosa colección con patrones, texturas y telas muy interesantes.

"Partiendo de la unión entre lo perfecto y lo primitivo, se crea una simbiosis estética que es el concepto principal de Monsieur Primitif. El cual afecta un segundo concepto no menos importante: La recuperación y actualización de la sastrería del hombre actual mediante nuevas siluetas, materiales y detalles en la construcción de las prendas" (David Cabra).

This A/W 2010-2011 Collection was the winner of Menswear at #29 ModaFad (a Fashion event-asociation in Barcelona, that promotes emerging designers).

David Cabra, designer from the Felicidad Duce fashion school, created this amazing collection with beautiful Patterns and Fabrics...

"The start is the junction between the perfect and the primitive, as it creates an aesthetic symbiosis, this is the main concept of Monsieur Primitif. This affects a second concept not less important: The retrieval and update of the tailoring for modern man with new shapes, materials and details in the construction of the garments". (David Cabra).

Azzedine Alaïa

Este Señor, que nació en Tunisia en los 40's, es uno de los diseñadores que más admiro a la fecha. Se dedica a la elaboración de Calzado y Ropa.

Me es difícil encontrar una adjetivo adecuado para nombrar sus creaciones, pero en realidad son arte puro.

Algo curioso de él, es que no sigue el ritmo de la moda en cuanto a la presentación de sus colecciones; (las pret-à-porter), Azzedine se toma su tiempo para que en verdad sean prendas de alta costura. Y sus clientas, en su mayoría grandes Divas, esperan con paciencia para tener esos exclusivos diseños, que son elaboradas en su taller que está en el centro del Marais, en París.

No existe una página web oficial, Sin embargo aparte de su Atelier se pueden encontrar algunos diseños de Ropa en Barneys y calzado en Bergdorf's. Y en cuanto a imágenes, también hay poca información, sin embargo creo que éstos ejemplos de diseños recientes, dicen algo.

Amazing Tunisian designer born in the 40's, who is dedicated to developing clothes and shoes. It's hard to find a suitable adjective to name their creations, They are just pure art.

Something curious about him, it’s the way he presents their collections, Azzedine takes his time to make a truly couture clothing. And his clients, real Divas, wait patiently to have those exclusive designs, which are developed in the Alaïa shop in the center of Marais, in Paris.

There is no official website, however apart from the Atelier can find some designs of clothing and footwear at Barneys and Bergdorf's respectively. Images as well are not an easy find, however i think this tree recent shoe examples are enough.
